Le Visage Refinery

Membership

For the people who get done up more than once.

A session a month at your own address, with the travel fee gone, no deposit, and your artist held for you. The price is on this page and so are the cancellation terms.

Memberships open when payments go live. Nothing on this page charges a card today — the form below joins a list, and that is all it does.

Three plans

The price, said out loud.

No plan is marked "most popular", because nobody has bought one yet. When that changes you will see the real distribution, not a badge.

Access

$29 per month

Or $290 a year — ten months for twelve. Annual is not on sale yet; see below.

For someone who books a few times a year and is tired of the surprise line items.

No Session Credits on this plan.

  • Travel fee waived on every bookingUp to $75 per booking, paid to your artist by us, not deducted from her.
  • Book without a depositCard on file, contract signed as usual, balance charged 24 hours before like everyone else.
  • 48-hour date holdHold a date for two days before you commit. Non-members book the moment they decide or lose it.
  • One free reschedule per bookingMove the date once, outside 72 hours, with no fee and no argument.
  • 12-month rate lockYour artist's published price for you is locked for twelve months from your first booking with her, even if she raises it.

The Standing Appointment

$149 per month

Or $1,490 a year — ten months for twelve. Annual is not on sale yet; see below.

For someone who is actually done up once a month — an event, a shoot, a Friday that matters.

1 Session Credit a month. Bank up to 3.

Everything in Access, plus:

  • One Session Credit every monthRedeem it for event or evening makeup, special-occasion hair, or photoshoot makeup, at your address, with any artist inside the member rate for your metro.
  • Your artist, heldName a regular artist and your monthly credit reserves her first, before the date opens to anyone else.

Studio

$279 per month

Or $2,790 a year — ten months for twelve. Annual is not on sale yet; see below.

For people who are in front of a camera regularly — creators, presenters, anyone shooting more than once a month.

2 Session Credits a month. Bank up to 4.

Everything in The Standing Appointment, plus:

  • Two Session Credits every month
  • Same-day booking windowSee artists with same-day availability, which non-members never see.

Why annual is priced but not sold. An initial term of a year or more triggers a 15-to-45-day pre-renewal notice in New York and New York City. That machinery has to exist before we take a single annual payment, so the yearly figure is published and the yearly plan is not offered.

The unit

A Session Credit is a session. Not an amount of money.

This is the one thing worth understanding before you buy anything, and it is the reason the rest of the terms can be as plain as they are.

One credit is one session

Redeemable for event or evening makeup, special-occasion hair, or photoshoot and headshot makeup — at your address, with any artist whose published price for that service is at or below the member rate for your metro. That ceiling is a filter on artists, shown as a badge on her profile.

It is never "$95 of credit". A credit has no dollars in it at all.

It does not expire while you are a member

There is no clock on a credit you have banked. Not 30 days, not 90. While your membership is active, a credit you earned stays yours.

If you cancel, you keep them for twelve months

Every credit you have banked survives cancellation and stays redeemable for a full year. We do not take back something you already earned — capping what you can bank is a term; expiring what you earned is a forfeiture, and they are not the same thing.

The accrual cap, stated honestly

The Standing Appointment banks up to 3 credits; Studio up to 4. At the ceiling, that month adds none — and we tell you before the charge, not after. Use one and the next month resumes, or pause the membership for up to three months and keep everything you have.

  • Not transferable. A credit is attached to your membership, not to a code you can pass on.
  • No cash value. It cannot be refunded, redeemed for money, or applied as a dollar discount.
  • Never sold separately. There is no "5 credits for $400" and there never will be. Credits accrue as a benefit of an active membership.
  • Not a gift card. A real gift — someone buying a session for you — is a different thing we have not built. If we do, it will say so and it will follow gift-certificate law.

Cancelling

One click. Any hour. Nobody talks you out of it.

Most memberships in this category make leaving the hardest thing in the product. Ours is a button in your account, and it is the same button at 2am on a Sunday as it is at noon on a Tuesday.

You will not be routed to a phone number, asked to email anyone, handed a chat window, or shown three offers before the cancel button appears. If we ever offer you something on the way out, the cancel button stays on the screen next to it.

You get the confirmation on screen and again by email, and the month you already paid for runs to its end. There is no refund of the current month — that is stated here and again above the pay button, not discovered afterwards.

  • One clickIn your account, where you signed upThe same medium you joined through. If we ever let you join another way, cancelling works that way too.
  • Any time24 hours a day, no business hoursNo phone call. No email. No chat. No "reply STOP and wait".
  • No wallNo save offer standing in front of itA retention offer, if it exists at all, sits beside the cancel button and never in front of it.
  • 12 monthsYou keep every banked credit for a yearCancelling does not burn what you earned. You have twelve months to use it.
  • Or pauseUp to three months, keeping everythingOffered as an option, never as an obstacle.

When it opens

What you will be shown before you enter a card.

Every one of these is on the screen above the pay button — not behind a link to the terms. You are reading it now, months before there is a pay button at all.

Membership terms, in full

  1. $29, $149 or $279 a month, depending on the plan you pick. Charged every month.
  2. First charge on the day you join. Next charge one month later, to the day.
  3. It renews automatically until you cancel. We do not decide that for you.
  4. Cancel in one click in your account, any time, day or night. No phone call, no email, no chat.
  5. If you cancel, you keep every Session Credit you have banked and have 12 months to use them. The current month is not refunded.
  6. Session Credits are not transferable, have no cash value, and are never sold separately. They accrue as a benefit of an active membership.
  7. You can bank up to 3 credits on The Standing Appointment and 4 on Studio. At the ceiling, a month adds none — we tell you before the charge, not after.

Nothing on this page charges anything. Payments are not connected yet, so there is no checkout to reach.

Tell me when memberships open

One email, when memberships actually open in your city. Your details are never sold and never handed to an artist before a booking is paid.

Where the membership actually is, today

The same state of play as the rest of the site, said in the same words.

  • You cannot buy this yet. Stripe is not connected, so no card can be charged and no membership can start. The button above joins a list.
  • Nobody is a member. There is no count, no waiting-list number and no "join 2,000 others", because there is nothing true to put there.
  • The directory is empty. A credit is redeemable at artists who have published prices, and none have yet. San Diego first.
  • These prices can still move. They are argued for in the repo from real category numbers, not measured against a booking we have taken. If they change before launch, the people on the list hear it from us first.
